C-PAP – Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea can cause dry mouth because the condition often leads to mouth breathing. This causes air to pass over the tongue and soft palate, leading to a dry mouth and throat.

What is even more challenging is that CPAP machines, which are designed to combat sleep apnea, can also cause Dry Mouth because the constant flow of air can dry out the oral cavity. The pressurized air from the machine often forces the mouth to open, which further dries out the mouth and can lead to oral health issues.

Users are often faced with the dilemma of trying to fix one problem while creating another. Aquoral can help deliver a restful night’s sleep by mitigating the side effects of dry mouth while also preventing long-term damage. The lipid-based formulation creates a protective oral shield and lubricates the mucosa, providing relief for up to 6 hours.

Aquoral is a discreet, easy-to-use spray.
